Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After a defensive mix-up in Islanders's zone, Harry Velasquez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zackary McQueen came out of the goal and Harry Velasquez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 5thth minute of the game Casey Lefler who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Waverly FC's Everett Boudreaux was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Waverly FC's goalkeeper Everett Boudreaux, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Harry Velasquez came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Waverly FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Harry Velasquez couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jim McNeill in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zackary McQueen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Houston Woodward struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Zackary McQueen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Waverly FC. In the 16th minute, Enrique Guy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 20 in the game by Jim McNeill from a close distance when the talented Zackary McQueen managed to make a qualified save. Islanders's players were relieved. After a defensive mix-up in Islanders's zone, Harry Velasquez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zackary McQueen came out of the goal and Harry Velasquez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 28 minutes into the game, Casey Lefler was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Islanders's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Waverly FC the free kick. In the 28th match minute, Islanders was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Casey Lefler to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 35 minutes, Jim McNeill managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Waverly FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jim McNeill was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jim McNeill in the 36thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Zackary McQueen, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Harry Velasquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 40thth minute of the game Jim McNeill who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Islanders's Zackary McQueen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Waverly FC booed when Islanders was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Monroe Nance didn't get a good kick on the ball. Houston Woodward recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Everett Boudreaux showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enrique Guy in the 45th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.
After 66 minutes, Monroe Nance mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Islanders and the Waverly FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Monroe Nance hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. After 70 minutes, Jim McNeill made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Islanders's Zackary McQueen tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 76th minute Enrique Guy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Everett Boudreaux saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Islanders getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Freddy Miller hit a great ball. Harry Velasquez took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zackary McQueen. Zackary McQueen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Harry Velasquez struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Zackary McQueen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Waverly FC. Harry Velasquez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zackary McQueen having to make a save. Zackary McQueen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jim McNeill, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jim McNeill sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the Waverly FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
