After 6 played minutes Glen Rock AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ross Weiss. 11 minutes into the match, Glen Rock AFC's goalkeeper Jerome Cates had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kasey Elliot. After 16 played minutes Malulo LC got a freekick which was hit by Leonard Christensen. In the 21st minute, Kasey Elliot had to leave the field with a concussion. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Angelo Roark during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 20th minute of the game. One of Glen Rock AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Malulo LC:s goal. The goalkeeper, Jerome Cates, was totally fooled by Malulo LC's Kermit Suarez, who 24 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. George Krueger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerome Cates having to interfere. Roscoe Rudolph kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Zachariah McClain took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Casey Rosado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If George Krueger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zachariah McClain made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Casey Rosado in the 47th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. George Krueger was the one to do the kick off. When Roscoe Rudolph came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Malulo LC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roscoe Rudolph couldn't finish the play. After 55 minutes, Roscoe Rudolph mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Malulo LC and the Glen Rock AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Malulo LC's Roscoe Rudolph got a free kick in the 55th minute. Casey Rosado received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Zachariah McClain came out and tried to block the shot, but Casey Rosado slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 59th minute. After having played for 62 minutes, Casey Rosado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Glen Rock AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Casey Rosado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Malulo LC's Zachariah McClain got control of the ball when Kenny Pierce tried to sneak it across the goal line. Theodore Santana charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Theodore Santana the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Malulo LC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Theodore Santana hit a great ball. When Glen Rock AFC's Casey Rosado in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Malulo LC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 74th minute Casey Rosado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zachariah McClain saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zachariah McClain stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Casey Rosado's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Neil Chan hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. In the 93rd minute of the match, Casey Rosado tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Zachariah McClain saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Casey Rosado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
