Glen Rock AFC's Casey Rosado got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusebio Lund in the 14th minute of play forced Glen Rock AFC's goalkeeper Jerome Cates to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Eusebio Lund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 22 minutes, Casey Rosado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jerome Cates showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eusebio Lund, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. SLC FC's Kip Wyatt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kenny Pierce in the 40th minute of play. Casey Rosado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kip Wyatt having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eusebio Lund to make the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lincoln Temple during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Casey Rosado couldn't finish the play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
