In the 6th minute, Tad Platt made a precise shot to the right of Zachariah McClain. Malulo LC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Theodore Santana during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Samson AFC booed when Malulo LC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Theodore Santana didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 19th minute, Von Ross got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. George Krueger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Von Ross managed to get in a good position for a shot. Samson AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Von Ross was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zachariah McClain breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Von Ross sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 29th minute, Kermit Suarez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Malulo LC's Zachariah McClain played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Von Ross in the 32nd minute of play. After having played for 36 minutes, Tad Platt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Samson AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tad Platt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tad Platt struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Zachariah McClain didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Samson AFC. In the 40th minute Von Ross shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zachariah McClain saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zachariah McClain took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tad Platt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 46 minutes into the match, Samson AFC's Tad Platt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zachariah McClain narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tad Platt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

Leonard Christensen charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leonard Christensen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 55 minutes Malulo LC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Anson Holloway who took care of the corner kick. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Scotty Hargrove advanced and headed the ball into goal, 0-2 in the 55th minute. George Krueger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 62nd match minute, Samson AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Scotty Hargrove to maneuver through the defense. 65 minutes into the match, Samson AFC's Von Ross sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zachariah McClain narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 67 minutes into the match, Malulo LC's goalkeeper Zachariah McClain had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tad Platt. George Krueger struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Kirk Hearn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Malulo LC. 72 minutes into the game, Scotty Hargrove was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Samson AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Malulo LC the free kick. After 72 played minutes Samson AFC got a freekick which was hit by Scotty Hargrove. Malulo LC's Zachariah McClain played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Von Ross in the 76th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sal Clayton in the 79th minute of play forced Malulo LC's goalkeeper Zachariah McClain to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Malulo LC's Zachariah McClain got control of the ball when Tad Platt tried to sneak it across the goal line. A hard shot 87 in the game by Tad Platt from a close distance when the talented Zachariah McClain managed to make a qualified save. Malulo LC's players were relieved. If Von Ross had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Malulo LC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Samson AFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
