Spectators: 7573 (Terracing: 5796, Seating: 1777, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Reyes McCarthy kicked off to start the match. Blair Moon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kermit Buckley having to interfere. Blair Moon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Fosiedal FF booed when Captain America was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carson Nicholson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Reyes McCarthy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Kermit Buckley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18thth minute of the game Reyes McCarthy who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Captain America's Kermit Buckley was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Captain America's goal looked a bit too open when Reyes McCarthy came free, but Kermit Buckley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Reyes McCarthy kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Kermit Buckley. That made the score 1-0 in the 27 minute of play. Ignacio Sims received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Dalton Sylvester tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 33 minutes into the match, Captain America's Ignacio Sims sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dalton Sylvester narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ignacio Sims sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Marvin McGill came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Fosiedal FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marvin McGill couldn't finish the play. In the 42nd minute, Ignacio Sims hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ignacio Sims stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ignacio Sims sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ron Guidry sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ignacio Sims's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dalton Sylvester read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. Ron Guidry recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Frankie Cortez charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Frankie Cortez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Frankie Cortez kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 68th match minute, Fosiedal FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robby Gibson to maneuver through the defense. Reyes McCarthy might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kermit Buckley. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Reyes McCarthy ran back to his position shaking his head. Blair Moon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute.
