Spectators: 7702 (Terracing: 5778, Seating: 1771, VIP seats: 153) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Terrell Whatley made the kick off which started today's match. 3 minutes into the match, Malzahar FC's goal looked a bit too open when Terrell Whatley came free, but Oren Lopez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kyle Hammond kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. In the 6th minute, Jess Messer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Richton AFC's goalkeeper Bernardo Chacon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bernardo Chacon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Trent Graves in the 9th minute of play. In the 10th minute, Nigel Castillo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. William Acero hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Nigel Castillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 22 minutes into the match, Malzahar FC's Trent Graves sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bernardo Chacon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Malzahar FC's Nigel Castillo came free and shot a quick shot against goal 24 minutes in the game, fortunately Bernardo Chacon had problems saving as it came toward the left post. After having played for 26 minutes, Theron Salazar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Malzahar FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Theron Salazar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. DeAndre Brewer took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 31st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bernardo Chacon. Richton AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 31st minute Mervin Marrero suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Darryl Garner's late challenge caught a Malzahar FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Darryl Garner helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Malzahar FC booed when Richton AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Darryl Garner didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jess Messer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oren Lopez having to interfere. Nigel Castillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Terrell Whatley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Oren Lopez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 46 minutes into the match, Malzahar FC's goal looked a bit too open when Terrell Whatley came free, but Oren Lopez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jess Messer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

If Terrell Whatley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Terrell Whatley in the 54th minute of play forced Malzahar FC's goalkeeper Oren Lopez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Terrell Whatley managed to get in a good position for a shot. Richton AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Terrell Whatley was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oren Lopez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nigel Castillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nigel Castillo struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Bernardo Chacon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Malzahar FC. Ian Bynum charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ian Bynum the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 66th minute, Ian Bynum hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. DeAndre Brewer kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. When Terrell Whatley, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 69 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Oren Lopez was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Terrell Whatley was extremely unlucky when he, in the 72nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 75 minutes into the match, Jess Messer notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Malzahar FC's Oren Lopez. Oren Lopez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 82nd minute Terrell Whatley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oren Lopez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Jess Messer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 86 minutes, Jess Messer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Richton AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jess Messer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Richton AFC booed when Malzahar FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Theron Salazar didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 96th minute, Kyle Hammond got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Richton AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Richton AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
