Spectators: 7567 (Terracing: 5790, Seating: 1775, VIP seats: 2) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Hugh Lincoln got the match started through his kick off. Hugh Lincoln received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Bernardo Chacon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Ahmed Barrera managed to get in a good position for a shot. Monstars's supporters rose to their feet, but Ahmed Barrera was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernardo Chacon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 8th minute, Hugh Lincoln ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bernardo Chacon was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 12 played minutes, Richton AFC's William Acero shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bryant Stroud came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Richton AFC reached it. Jess Messer charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jess Messer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 14 played minutes Richton AFC got a freekick which was hit by Jess Messer. Richton AFC's Bernardo Chacon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clayton Fortune in the 17th minute of play. In the 20th match minute, Richton AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flint Hopper to maneuver through the defense. Hugh Lincoln scored 0-2 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bernardo Chacon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ahmed Barrera recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Jess Messer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Flint Hopper's late challenge caught a Monstars's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Flint Hopper helped the player get up and apologised. Flint Hopper kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Bernardo Chacon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugh Lincoln in the 38th minute of the match. If Ahmed Barrera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hugh Lincoln's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bernardo Chacon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. After the first half Monstars were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

54 minutes into the game, Ian Bynum was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Richton AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Monstars the free kick. Ian Bynum hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Kareem Gregg took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 56th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bernardo Chacon. Richton AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Richton AFC's Bernardo Chacon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugh Lincoln in the 58th minute of play. Terrell Whatley took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bryant Stroud. Bryant Stroud dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Hugh Lincoln sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bernardo Chacon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugh Lincoln in the 74th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugh Lincoln in the 83rd minute of play forced Richton AFC's goalkeeper Bernardo Chacon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hugh Lincoln sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ahmed Barrera during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Richton AFC booed when Monstars was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmed Barrera didn't get a good kick on the ball. Terrell Whatley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bryant Stroud having to interfere. Monstars's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
