Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Wilfredo Anderson started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After some fancy dribbling in the 2nd minute, Dylan Dawkins managed to get in a good position for a shot. NY92's supporters rose to their feet, but Dylan Dawkins was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Michael Kaiser breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dylan Dawkins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dylan Dawkins in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Michael Kaiser prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vito Randolph sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 16th minute, Vito Randolph hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 23 minutes, Wilfredo Anderson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Buies Creek FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wilfredo Anderson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Rhett Dennis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Buies Creek FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rhett Dennis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ezra Hendrix breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 37 minutes into the match, Buies Creek FC's goalkeeper Michael Kaiser had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vito Randolph. Rusty Hale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Michael Kaiser tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dylan Dawkins in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Michael Kaiser saved Buies Creek FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dylan Dawkins in the 43rd minute of play forced Buies Creek FC's goalkeeper Michael Kaiser to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dylan Dawkins made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rocky Shipman in the 53rd minute of play forced Buies Creek FC's goalkeeper Michael Kaiser to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Michael Kaiser made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vito Randolph in the 58th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Buies Creek FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dylan Dawkins came free, but Michael Kaiser reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dylan Dawkins recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 63rd match minute, Buies Creek FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kermit Ellis to maneuver through the defense. If Dylan Dawkins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dylan Dawkins recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dylan Dawkins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michael Kaiser having to interfere. In the 71st minute, Rhett Dennis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Michael Kaiser showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dylan Dawkins, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Buies Creek FC's zone, Vito Randolph stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Michael Kaiser came out of the goal and Vito Randolph tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Buies Creek FC defense, Vito Randolph kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Michael Kaiser. The Buies Creek FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Michael Kaiser should have stopped the shot.
