If Reyes McCarthy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 8 minutes into the game, Blair Moon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Michael Kaiser was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Reyes McCarthy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Michael Kaiser showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reyes McCarthy, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 24th minute Reyes McCarthy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michael Kaiser saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Reyes McCarthy struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Michael Kaiser didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fosiedal FF. After 27 minutes of play, Fosiedal FF's Reyes McCarthy made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Michael Kaiser was left in no man's land by his defense there! Reyes McCarthy took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Michael Kaiser. Michael Kaiser dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Michael Kaiser showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reyes McCarthy in the 40th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the game, Fosiedal FF's Blair Moon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Michael Kaiser made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Reyes McCarthy to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Rhett Dennis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Michael Kaiser stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Reyes McCarthy's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. Buies Creek FC's Michael Kaiser played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marvin McGill in the 65th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Reyes McCarthy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fosiedal FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Reyes McCarthy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Michael Kaiser breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rhett Dennis's late challenge caught a Fosiedal FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rhett Dennis helped the player get up and apologised. In the 73rd match minute, Buies Creek FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rhett Dennis to maneuver through the defense. If Reyes McCarthy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Michael Kaiser showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reyes McCarthy, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. After 89 minutes of play, Fosiedal FF's Marvin McGill made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Michael Kaiser was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rhett Dennis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle sounded Fosiedal FF left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Buies Creek FC.
