Spectators: 7588 (Terracing: 5808, Seating: 1780, VIP seats: 0) Fallbrook AFC's Max Lawrence started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 played minutes Fosiedal FF got a freekick which was hit by Marvin McGill. Andre Kimbrough made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Blair Moon sent off a good shot on target. Virgilio Faulk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dalton Sylvester stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Max Lawrence's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. After a rather tough play, Fosiedal FF's Frankie Cortez got a free kick in the 18th minute. Dalton Sylvester showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Max Lawrence, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Max Lawrence in the 23rd minute of play forced Fosiedal FF's goalkeeper Dalton Sylvester to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27thth minute of the game Max Lawrence who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fosiedal FF's Dalton Sylvester was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Blair Moon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fosiedal FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Blair Moon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andre Kimbrough breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Andre Kimbrough showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reyes McCarthy in the 35th minute of the match. If Reyes McCarthy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute Max Lawrence shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dalton Sylvester saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Virgilio Faulk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Dalton Sylvester tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Virgilio Faulk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fallbrook AFC's Rex Bynum got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 48 minutes into the match, Fosiedal FF's goal looked a bit too open when Max Lawrence came free, but Dalton Sylvester reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Reyes McCarthy was the one to do the kick off. Teodoro Glenn's late challenge caught a Fosiedal FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teodoro Glenn helped the player get up and apologised. In the 62nd match minute, Fallbrook AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodoro Glenn to maneuver through the defense. Virgilio Faulk struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Dalton Sylvester didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fallbrook AFC. When the match clock showed 74 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Virgilio Faulk sped through Fosiedal FF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dalton Sylvester. Andre Kimbrough made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blair Moon in the 80th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Fosiedal FF's zone, Max Lawrence stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dalton Sylvester came out of the goal and Max Lawrence tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fallbrook AFC's Andre Kimbrough played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reyes McCarthy in the 86th minute of play. Andre Kimbrough took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Blair Moon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Reyes McCarthy came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Fosiedal FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reyes McCarthy couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Fallbrook AFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
