Wilfredo Anderson started the match with the kick off. Michael Kaiser stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Trent Graves's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. When Trent Graves came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Malzahar FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Trent Graves couldn't finish the play. Trent Graves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 11 minutes, Nigel Castillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Malzahar FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nigel Castillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Buies Creek FC's Michael Kaiser got control of the ball when Nigel Castillo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Michael Kaiser showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kyle Hammond in the 16th minute of the match. Trent Graves struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Michael Kaiser didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Malzahar FC. 20 minutes into the game, Trent Graves recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Michael Kaiser. Trent Graves showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Theron Salazar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Michael Kaiser made a huge save. Kyle Hammond was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 28th minute. Malzahar FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After a rather tough play, Malzahar FC's Nigel Castillo got a free kick in the 30th minute. Mervin Marrero's late challenge caught a Buies Creek FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mervin Marrero helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Buies Creek FC booed when Malzahar FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mervin Marrero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Michael Kaiser showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Trent Graves in the 36th minute of the match. After having played for 39 minutes, Trent Graves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Malzahar FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Trent Graves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 41 played minutes Trent Graves rounded Buies Creek FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 47th minute of the game. One of Buies Creek FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Malzahar FC:s goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Trent Graves stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nigel Castillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Michael Kaiser tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Michael Kaiser showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Trent Graves in the 62nd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Trent Graves in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Michael Kaiser prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Michael Kaiser showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Trent Graves in the 73rd minute of the match. Wilfredo Anderson kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Michael Kaiser took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Trent Graves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Trent Graves might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Michael Kaiser. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Trent Graves ran back to his position shaking his head. Nigel Castillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Michael Kaiser tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Trent Graves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michael Kaiser having to interfere. If Trent Graves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Theron Salazar took the ball and in the 99 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Michael Kaiser. Michael Kaiser dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0.
