Virgilio Faulk made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 26thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Oren Lopez would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Max Lawrence fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oren Lopez having to interfere. Trent Graves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Virgilio Faulk blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Oren Lopez having to make a save. If Virgilio Faulk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd minute of the match, Max Lawrence tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Oren Lopez saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Max Lawrence was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Malzahar FC's Theron Salazar got a free kick in the 90th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Fallbrook AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Malzahar FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
