Spectators: 7721 (Terracing: 5792, Seating: 1775, VIP seats: 154) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ignacio Sims kicked off to start the match. NY92's Ezra Hendrix proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save NY92 from getting a goal against them. Kermit Buckley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dylan Dawkins in the 5th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignacio Sims in the 6th minute of play forced NY92's goalkeeper Ezra Hendrix to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Ron Guidry managed to get in a good position for a shot. Captain America's supporters rose to their feet, but Ron Guidry was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ezra Hendrix breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ron Guidry got free with Ezra Hendrix in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Ignacio Sims had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After recieving a nice pass, Captain America's Terrence Alexander tried to score from far away in the 22nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Ezra Hendrix didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 25th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Boyce Dubose charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Boyce Dubose the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Boyce Dubose kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dylan Dawkins in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kermit Buckley prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kermit Buckley stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dylan Dawkins's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. The supporters of NY92 booed when Captain America was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boyce Dubose didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vito Randolph might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kermit Buckley. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vito Randolph ran back to his position shaking his head. 35 minutes into the game, Dylan Dawkins cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Kermit Buckley was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ignacio Sims received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ezra Hendrix came out and tried to block the shot, but Ignacio Sims slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 41st minute. 46 minutes into the game, Ron Guidry recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ezra Hendrix. Ron Guidry showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dylan Dawkins made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Vito Randolph had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kermit Buckley. Captain America's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vito Randolph was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. After having played for 58 minutes, Dylan Dawkins managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. NY92's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dylan Dawkins was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vito Randolph came free with the goalkeeper in the 60th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Kermit Buckley could save by the left post. In the 62nd minute Ron Guidry shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ezra Hendrix saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ezra Hendrix stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ignacio Sims's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. After having played for 73 minutes, Ron Guidry managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Captain America's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ron Guidry was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ezra Hendrix took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ron Guidry, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ron Guidry sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 83 minutes into the match, Ron Guidry had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ezra Hendrix. Captain America's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
