Spectators: 7527 (Terracing: 5652, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Trent Graves kicked off to start the match. Nigel Castillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bryant Stroud having to interfere. After 5 played minutes Monstars got a freekick which was hit by Clayton Fortune. After 7 minutes, Clayton Fortune mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Monstars and the Malzahar FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Malzahar FC booed when Monstars was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clayton Fortune didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 11th minute Trent Graves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bryant Stroud saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Nigel Castillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Trent Graves put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Bryant Stroud. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nigel Castillo in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bryant Stroud saved Monstars from getting behind. Nigel Castillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Monstars's Bryant Stroud played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Trent Graves in the 25th minute of play. If Nigel Castillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Theron Salazar fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Malzahar FC's protests and gave Theron Salazar a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nigel Castillo in the 36th minute of play forced Monstars's goalkeeper Bryant Stroud to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Trent Graves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nigel Castillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Bryant Stroud tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Ahmed Barrera got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hugh Lincoln to make the kick off. Nigel Castillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bryant Stroud read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. The audience held their breath when J.P. Roark in the 60th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Oren Lopez's left hand side. Theron Salazar hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Ahmed Barrera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Oren Lopez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Malzahar FC's zone, Hugh Lincoln stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oren Lopez came out of the goal and Hugh Lincoln tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Monstars booed when Malzahar FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mervin Marrero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nigel Castillo took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bryant Stroud. Bryant Stroud dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. In the 92nd minute Dan Mercado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oren Lopez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Clayton Fortune managed to get in a good position for a shot. Monstars's supporters rose to their feet, but Clayton Fortune was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oren Lopez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Malzahar FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
