The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Michael Kaiser took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carson Nicholson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Buies Creek FC's Michael Kaiser played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ron Guidry in the 11th minute of play. Hayden Honeycutt kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. In the 17th minute, Ignacio Sims got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 19 minutes of play, Captain America's Carson Nicholson made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Michael Kaiser was left in no man's land by his defense there! Michael Kaiser showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ignacio Sims, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignacio Sims in the 24th minute of play forced Buies Creek FC's goalkeeper Michael Kaiser to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ron Guidry recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ron Guidry in the 29th minute of play forced Buies Creek FC's goalkeeper Michael Kaiser to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 34 minutes into the match, Buies Creek FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ignacio Sims came free, but Michael Kaiser reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dominique Nicholas during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 81st minute, Wilfredo Anderson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ignacio Sims fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michael Kaiser having to interfere.
