Bayou Twisters's Alexander Kohler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente Yoshioka in the 20th minute of play. Winfred Burgos succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 23rd playminute. A collision led to Bayou Twisters getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Kent Ransom hit a great ball. 29 minutes into the game, Darrel Lynch was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bayou Twisters's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave San Manuel the free kick. In the 29th match minute, Bayou Twisters was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Darrel Lynch to maneuver through the defense. In the 34th minute, Darrel Lynch ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Noel Crews was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Hector Nugent kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. After 43 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for San Manuel! Bayou Twisters's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jimmy Neely was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Winfred Burgos managed to get in a good position for a shot. San Manuel's supporters rose to their feet, but Winfred Burgos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexander Kohler breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vicente Yoshioka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Alexander Kohler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 72 minutes into the match, Bayou Twisters's goal looked a bit too open when Winfred Burgos came free, but Alexander Kohler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
