Lyman FC's Garret Hutchinson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chad Lucas in the 7th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, Lyman FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gerardo Hollingsworth came free, but Garret Hutchinson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 10 minutes into the game, Chad Lucas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Garret Hutchinson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gerardo Hollingsworth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Garret Hutchinson having to interfere. After 16 played minutes Ringwood got a freekick which was hit by Rob Clearwater. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lyman FC's goalkeeper Garret Hutchinson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Garret Hutchinson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chad Lucas in the 34th minute of the match. Garret Hutchinson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerardo Hollingsworth, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Ringwood's Stacey Naylor proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Ringwood from getting a goal against them. Rob Clearwater scored 0-2 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Garret Hutchinson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 45th minute Chad Lucas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Garret Hutchinson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 48th match minute, Lyman FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Denver Frye to maneuver through the defense. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gerardo Hollingsworth was the one to do the kick off. Garret Sheppard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gerardo Hollingsworth's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Garret Hutchinson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Lyman FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gerardo Hollingsworth came free, but Garret Hutchinson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Garret Hutchinson made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Chad Lucas sent off a good shot on target. Reed Hand charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Reed Hand the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Ringwood booed when Lyman FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reed Hand didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gerardo Hollingsworth recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Garret Hutchinson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Isaiah Garrison went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 75th minute Quinn Cronshagen suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. In the 76th match minute, Lyman FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Garret Sheppard to maneuver through the defense. If Chad Lucas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chad Lucas was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 81st minute. Ringwood's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Chad Lucas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
