After 4 played minutes, Bayou Twisters's Kent Ransom shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Johnson Stanton came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bayou Twisters reached it. Connor Byrd fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexander Kohler having to interfere. 13 minutes into the match, Gooners's goal looked a bit too open when Jimmy Neely came free, but Johnson Stanton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Gooners's Connor Byrd sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alexander Kohler narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bayou Twisters's Alexander Kohler proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Bayou Twisters from getting a goal against them. Bayou Twisters's Alexander Kohler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Connor Byrd in the 20th minute of play. Waylon Bauman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alexander Kohler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Connor Byrd, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Connor Byrd sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 30 minutes into the match, Bayou Twisters's goalkeeper Alexander Kohler had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ethan Guthrie. In the 31st minute, Darrel Lynch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Bayou Twisters's Alexander Kohler got control of the ball when Ethan Guthrie tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Heriberto Huber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Connor Byrd came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Gooners fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Connor Byrd couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Bayou Twisters's Alexander Kohler got control of the ball when Ethan Guthrie tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Ethan Guthrie managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gooners's supporters rose to their feet, but Ethan Guthrie was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexander Kohler breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Darrel Lynch made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Connor Byrd ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alexander Kohler was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Johnson Stanton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Darrel Lynch, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. 59 minutes into the match, Ethan Guthrie notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Bayou Twisters's Alexander Kohler. Alexander Kohler was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 63 minutes into the match, Bayou Twisters's goal looked a bit too open when Connor Byrd came free, but Alexander Kohler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Darrel Lynch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Johnson Stanton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Gooners's zone, Darrel Lynch stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Johnson Stanton came out of the goal and Darrel Lynch tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Bayou Twisters's Darrel Lynch in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gooners's goalie prevented a goal. When Heriberto Huber fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gooners's protests and gave Heriberto Huber a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Bayou Twisters booed when Gooners was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Heriberto Huber didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jimmy Neely received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Johnson Stanton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Darrel Lynch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johnson Stanton having to interfere. Connor Byrd sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Connor Byrd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 92 minutes into the match, Gooners's Ethan Guthrie sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alexander Kohler narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ethan Guthrie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Alexander Kohler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
