A collision led to Little Elm FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Francesco Velasquez hit a great ball. 22 minutes into the game, Jesus Baird was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. In the 26th minute, Abe Medina got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Abe Medina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th minute, Jeremy Greene reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alexander Kohler. The goal made the score 1-0. With a little luck, Bayou Twisters's Alexander Kohler got control of the ball when Abe Medina tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Jeremy Greene came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Little Elm FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeremy Greene couldn't finish the play. 39 minutes into the match, Abe Medina dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alexander Kohler, 2-0. Bayou Twisters's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Darrel Lynch made the kick off in the second half. If Jimmy Neely had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Bayou Twisters's Waylon Bauman got a free kick in the 56th minute. Abe Medina's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alexander Kohler read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. If Abe Medina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Waylon Bauman charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Waylon Bauman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Waylon Bauman kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Little Elm FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
