The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute, Vincent Jacobsen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Corey Vigil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Catrasca Fulbo Clú's Shaun Olsen got a free kick in the 5th minute. In the 6th minute, Ace Talbot got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Max MacWilliams took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ace Talbot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Ace Talbot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 11th minute, Jason Lovett left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Umbrella fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Dana Moran struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Gilbert Tilley didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Catrasca Fulbo Clú. 17 minutes into the game, one of Umbrella:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 25 minutes into the match, Umbrella's Corey Vigil sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Max MacWilliams narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ollie William received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Max MacWilliams tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ace Talbot in the 29th minute of play forced Catrasca Fulbo Clú's goalkeeper Max MacWilliams to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dave Clemons sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pascal Gregg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ace Talbot in the 54th minute of play forced Catrasca Fulbo Clú's goalkeeper Max MacWilliams to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 2-1 became the score in the 58th minute when Ace Talbot elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Umbrella's Mickey Hutton was substituted for Ace Talbot. 65 minutes into the match, Umbrella's Mickey Hutton sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Max MacWilliams narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Catrasca Fulbo Clú getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Dana Moran hit a great ball. Dominique Hillman hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. After having played for 83 minutes, Mickey Hutton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Umbrella's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mickey Hutton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 87th minute Mickey Hutton suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dominique Hillman during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 88 played minutes Catrasca Fulbo Clú got a freekick which was hit by Dominique Hillman. Jason Lovett recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 94th minute, Ollie William left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Umbrella fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. There was no doubt that Umbrella were the better team. Umbrella's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
