Oren Seymour fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rene Hanson having to interfere. Abe Medina charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abe Medina the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Abe Medina kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 13th minute of the game. One of Little Elm FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Bexley:s goal. After 14 minutes Little Elm FC's goalkeeper Rene Hanson managed, with a little bit of luck, save Leon Kennedy's penalty, on his right side after a tricky shot. 14 minutes into the match, Leon Kennedy dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rene Hanson, 1-0. When Abe Medina came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Little Elm FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abe Medina couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Bexley booed when Little Elm FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Archie Lacy didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd match minute, Little Elm FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francesco Velasquez to maneuver through the defense. In the 23rd minute, Jeremy Greene hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Little Elm FC's Francesco Velasquez got a free kick in the 27th minute. Little Elm FC's Rene Hanson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vince Foley in the 30th minute of play. When Abe Medina came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Little Elm FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abe Medina couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ervin Beckman in the 34th minute of play forced Little Elm FC's goalkeeper Rene Hanson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Little Elm FC's Abe Medina got a free kick in the 39th minute. Alfonso Downing took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 40th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rene Hanson. Little Elm FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ervin Beckman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Rene Hanson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Little Elm FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Francesco Velasquez hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ervin Beckman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Little Elm FC got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Vermudo. In the 57th minute, Oren Seymour got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Bexley getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Ervin Beckman hit a great ball. In the 66th minute of the match Francesco Velasquez shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eliseo Marcus showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Oren Seymour fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bexley's protests and gave Oren Seymour a yellow card for diving instead. After 68 played minutes Bexley got a freekick which was hit by Oren Seymour. The supporters of Bexley booed when Little Elm FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francesco Velasquez didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 76 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Abe Medina sped through Bexley's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eliseo Marcus. Rene Hanson came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Bexley's Vince Foley. But to his dismay, Vince Foley quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. When the referee blew the final whistle, Bexley could leave the field as winners, despite Little Elm FC having more of the ball for most of the match.
