Spectators: 7671 (Terracing: 5754, Seating: 1764, VIP seats: 153) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Abe Medina kicked off to start the match. After a defensive mix-up in Little Elm FC's zone, Chad Lucas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rene Hanson came out of the goal and Chad Lucas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Chad Lucas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Rene Hanson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rene Hanson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerardo Hollingsworth, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Gerardo Hollingsworth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd minute, Isaiah Garrison left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ringwood fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Little Elm FC's Archie Lacy got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Abe Medina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Francesco Velasquez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Little Elm FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Francesco Velasquez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stacey Naylor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Alvin Faulk fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ringwood's protests and gave Alvin Faulk a yellow card for diving instead. In the 46th match minute, Ringwood was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvin Faulk to maneuver through the defense. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gerardo Hollingsworth made a kick off. Little Elm FC's Rene Hanson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Little Elm FC from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Abe Medina managed to get in a good position for a shot. Little Elm FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Abe Medina was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abe Medina recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Abe Medina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Stacey Naylor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abe Medina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stacey Naylor having to interfere. When Abe Medina came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Little Elm FC fans jumped to their feet. Ringwood were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Little Elm FC's much stronger midfield.
