Spectators: 7770 (Terracing: 5828, Seating: 1787, VIP seats: 155) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ervin Beckman started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Bexley booed when Bayou Twisters was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jesus Baird didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Oren Seymour had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th minute of the match Elton Thorne sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eliseo Marcus skillfully saved the ball. Oren Seymour fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexander Kohler having to interfere. Alexander Kohler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ervin Beckman in the 26th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Darrel Lynch during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Bayou Twisters's Darrel Lynch got a free kick in the 28th minute. The supporters of Bexley booed when Bayou Twisters was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kent Ransom didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 48th minute, Darrel Lynch got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Darrel Lynch was the one to do the kick off. Eliseo Marcus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Darrel Lynch in the 53rd minute of play. 56 minutes into the match, Bayou Twisters's goalkeeper Alexander Kohler had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oren Seymour. Oren Seymour recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eliseo Marcus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Darrel Lynch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bayou Twisters's Jimmy Neely got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Darrel Lynch in the 66th minute of play forced Bexley's goalkeeper Eliseo Marcus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Waylon Bauman struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Eliseo Marcus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bayou Twisters. Ervin Beckman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexander Kohler having to interfere. Bayou Twisters's Alexander Kohler proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Bayou Twisters from getting a goal against them. In the 75thth minute of the game Ervin Beckman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bayou Twisters's Alexander Kohler was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jimmy Neely in the 77th minute of play forced Bexley's goalkeeper Eliseo Marcus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oren Seymour could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Alexander Kohler made a huge save. Alfonso Downing scored 0-1 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alexander Kohler, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Eliseo Marcus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Darrel Lynch in the 87th minute of the match. 89 minutes into the match, Waylon Bauman notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Bexley's Eliseo Marcus. Eliseo Marcus was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Jimmy Neely came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Bayou Twisters fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jimmy Neely couldn't finish the play.
