Dirk Dubois showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cedric Crocker, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Woodrow Dobbins managed to get in a good position for a shot. Apopka AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Woodrow Dobbins was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dirk Dubois breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tyrone Lopez to strike the kick off in the second half. Benito Downey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francis Booker having to interfere. Francis Booker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tyrone Lopez in the 63rd minute of the match. Tyrone Lopez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Francis Booker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tyrone Lopez in the 68th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benito Downey got free with Francis Booker in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Elkhorn's Basil Yost got a free kick in the 71st minute. After 82 minutes of play, Apopka AFC's Cedric Crocker made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dirk Dubois was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Elkhorn players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Apopka AFC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
