Sid Aldrich hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felix Guerrero in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ramon Crane prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cody Owens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oscar Paris in the 17th minute of the match. Johnathon Short charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Johnathon Short the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 21st minute, Johnathon Short hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Galliano booed when Newton Falls was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alistair Manley didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 39th minute, Oscar Paris reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Cody Owens. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 47th minute, Leif Hansen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Galliano fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Oscar Paris to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th match minute, Galliano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lincoln Jarrell to maneuver through the defense. Oscar Paris recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Monroe Dyer hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Galliano's Dallas Knapp couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 67th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Newton Falls. Duncan Yost got his second yellow card in the match during the 79th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Duncan Yost kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Newton Falls's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dave Doty in the 83rd minute. Dallas Knapp tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Cody Owens. An unnecessary self made goal, 2-1 in the 83rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Felix Guerrero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Galliano's supporters rose to their feet, but Felix Guerrero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ramon Crane breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
