Ramon Crane showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Derick Hood in the 4th minute of the match. In the 5th minute, Edgardo Rector made a precise shot to the right of Ramon Crane. Newton Falls's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Devin Sherrill stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oscar Paris's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. Klova FC's Norbert Donahue got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edgardo Rector blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ramon Crane having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Newton Falls's zone, Dirk Agoos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ramon Crane came out of the goal and Dirk Agoos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edgardo Rector sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ramon Crane took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dirk Agoos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 34 minutes into the game, Klova FC's Edgardo Rector nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ramon Crane made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Derick Hood hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match.

In the 54th minute, Dirk Agoos reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ramon Crane. The goal made the score 0-4. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edgardo Rector in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ramon Crane prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 62 played minutes Newton Falls got a freekick which was hit by Alistair Manley. Edgardo Rector might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ramon Crane. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edgardo Rector ran back to his position shaking his head. Edgardo Rector recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edgardo Rector in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ramon Crane saved Newton Falls from getting behind. After 76 minutes of play, Klova FC's Norbert Donahue made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ramon Crane was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ramon Crane made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgardo Rector in the 83rd minute of play. If Harvey Barrios had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Dirk Agoos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edgardo Rector fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramon Crane having to interfere. In the 95th match minute, Klova FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bryce Burton to maneuver through the defense. Newton Falls's Dave Doty couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 96th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Klova FC.
