Antony Peck was a little too slow when Jacob Orozco got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 6th minute. The score was now 1-0. Jacob Orozco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antony Peck having to interfere. If Jacob Orozco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some careless play in the Carmel Valley Village AFC defense, Jacob Orozco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Antony Peck. The Carmel Valley Village AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Antony Peck should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Carmel Valley Village AFC's zone, Jacob Orozco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antony Peck came out of the goal and Jacob Orozco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jacob Orozco who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 24thth minute tested the skills of Antony Peck when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jacob Orozco had several of the Carmel Valley Village AFC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 24 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Antony Peck as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Carmel Valley Village AFC's goalkeeper Antony Peck, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Anchorage Athletic's Jean-Charles Rinaudo got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 31st minute, Carmel Valley Village AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Marlon Erwin fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jacob Orozco got free with Antony Peck in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Antony Peck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacob Orozco in the 36th minute of the match. Anchorage Athletic's Jean-Charles Rinaudo got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jacob Orozco in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Antony Peck prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 45th minute of the match, Jacob Orozco got a very nice opportunity to score, but Antony Peck was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post.

The wind increased when Benjamin Holliday made the kick off in the second half. Jean-Charles Rinaudo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antony Peck having to interfere. In the 62nd minute Benjamin Holliday shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johnny Mesen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Engel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Antony Peck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Caleb Vilter kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Antony Peck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jean-Charles Rinaudo, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Arthur Geiger kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. In the 84th minute Gualterio Eliu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antony Peck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Antony Peck stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jacob Orozco's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. If Marlon Erwin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jacob Orozco in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Antony Peck saved Carmel Valley Village AFC from getting behind. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Anchorage Athletic fully deserved thier win.
