Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Leif Sito started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute, Tom Browning fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Leif Sito managed to get in a good position for a shot. Coimbra Team's supporters rose to their feet, but Leif Sito was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Darrel Alley breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rosario Corbin made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Scottie Huerta sent off a good shot on target. 15 minutes into the match, Coimbra Team's goal looked a bit too open when Daron Wright came free, but Rosario Corbin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daron Wright recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Scottie Huerta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Rosario Corbin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leif Sito struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Darrel Alley didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Coimbra Team. Scottie Huerta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 26thth minute of the game Daron Wright who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Coimbra Team's Rosario Corbin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Coimbra Team getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Duncan Byrne hit a great ball. Rosario Corbin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daron Wright in the 27th minute of the match. Daron Wright recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Duncan Byrne was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 39th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Leif Sito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Scottie Huerta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rosario Corbin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daron Wright, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. 47 minutes into the match, Coimbra Team's goalkeeper Rosario Corbin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Scottie Huerta. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daron Wright to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Coimbra Team booed when Carlyle was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tom Browning didn't get a good kick on the ball. 55 minutes into the game, Peter Coyle was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Coimbra Team's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Carlyle the free kick. After a rather tough play, Coimbra Team's Peter Coyle got a free kick in the 56th minute. Will Frederick's late challenge caught a Coimbra Team's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Will Frederick helped the player get up and apologised. In the 61st minute Scottie Huerta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rosario Corbin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 63 played minutes Coimbra Team got a freekick which was hit by Bart Manley. Carlyle's Will Frederick got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Leif Sito fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Coimbra Team's protests and gave Leif Sito a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Coimbra Team's Leif Sito got a free kick in the 66th minute. 79 minutes into the match, Coimbra Team's goal looked a bit too open when Scottie Huerta came free, but Rosario Corbin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Scottie Huerta in the 82nd minute of play forced Coimbra Team's goalkeeper Rosario Corbin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Coimbra Team's Rosario Corbin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Scottie Huerta in the 91st minute of play. After having played for 93 minutes, Duncan Byrne managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Coimbra Team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Duncan Byrne was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After having played for 98 minutes, Tom Browning managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
