Samuel Cramer didn't get a good kick on the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Villa madero f.c's Brant Kline broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Tracy William fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kerry Allen having to interfere. Jarrett Day charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jarrett Day the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Kerry Allen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rigoberto Moreno's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Kerry Allen was a little too slow when Rigoberto Moreno got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 29th minute. The score was now 2-1. Tracy William sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Tracy William came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Villa madero f.c fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tracy William couldn't finish the play. Villa madero f.c's Tracy William got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Rigoberto Moreno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuel Cramer in the 46th minute of play forced Villa madero f.c's goalkeeper Gregorio Hurley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 48 played minutes Ottawa Hills got a freekick which was hit by Tony Agoos. Brant Kline, 49 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Rigoberto Moreno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Kerry Allen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kerry Allen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tracy William, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gregorio Hurley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nick Waite in the 59th minute of the match. Rigoberto Moreno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Rigoberto Moreno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Tracy William had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rigoberto Moreno in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kerry Allen saved Ottawa Hills from getting behind. 73 minutes into the match, Rickie Holbrook notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Villa madero f.c's Gregorio Hurley. Gregorio Hurley was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nick Waite sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Ottawa Hills's zone, Rigoberto Moreno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kerry Allen came out of the goal and Rigoberto Moreno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kerry Allen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rigoberto Moreno's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. When the referee ended the match the Villa madero f.c players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
