In the 6th minute, Marlon Erwin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Anchorage Athletic fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After some careless play in the Coimbra Team defense, Jean-Charles Rinaudo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rosario Corbin. The Coimbra Team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rosario Corbin should have stopped the shot. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Jacob Orozco put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Rosario Corbin. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Jacob Orozco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Anchorage Athletic's supporters rose to their feet, but Jacob Orozco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rosario Corbin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Leif Sito fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Coimbra Team's protests and gave Leif Sito a yellow card for diving instead. In the 22nd minute, Leif Sito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Marlon Erwin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Anchorage Athletic's supporters rose to their feet, but Marlon Erwin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rosario Corbin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 29th minute, Duncan Byrne got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 32 minutes into the match, Anchorage Athletic's Jean-Charles Rinaudo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Anchorage Athletic's zone, Duncan Byrne stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Johnny Mesen came out of the goal and Duncan Byrne tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 44 minutes, Leif Sito managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Coimbra Team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leif Sito was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Tanner Wiley fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Coimbra Team's protests and gave Tanner Wiley a yellow card for diving instead. In the 46th minute, Tanner Wiley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leif Sito stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Anchorage Athletic getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Jean-Charles Rinaudo hit a great ball. After 53 played minutes Anchorage Athletic got a freekick which was hit by Marlon Erwin. Jacob Orozco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rosario Corbin having to interfere. Johnny Mesen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leif Sito in the 59th minute of play. 61 minutes into the game, Jacob Orozco lined in a short shot 0-4 behind a frustrated Rosario Corbin. Rosario Corbin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacob Orozco, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. After a rather tough play, Coimbra Team's Duncan Byrne got a free kick in the 66th minute. Jacob Orozco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rosario Corbin having to interfere. When Leif Sito came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Coimbra Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leif Sito couldn't finish the play. Jacob Orozco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Coimbra Team's Rosario Corbin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Coimbra Team from getting a goal against them. Leif Sito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jacob Orozco's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 86thth minute, Rosario Corbin skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Johnny Mesen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Duncan Byrne in the 89th minute of play. After 91 minutes, Bart Manley mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Coimbra Team and the Anchorage Athletic players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gualterio Eliu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 95 played minutes Anchorage Athletic got a freekick which was hit by C.J. Perry. When the final whistle sounded Anchorage Athletic left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Coimbra Team.
