Spectators: 7749 (Terracing: 5813, Seating: 1782, VIP seats: 154) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Dylan Grier made the kick off which started today's match. After a defensive mix-up in Blood Machine's zone, Scottie Huerta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rey Moody came out of the goal and Scottie Huerta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 5th match minute, Blood Machine was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexis Gilbert to maneuver through the defense. Daron Wright took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rey Moody. Rey Moody dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Daron Wright received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Rey Moody tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Carlyle's Will Frederick got a free kick in the 15th minute. The supporters of Carlyle booed when Blood Machine was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jimmy Kennedy didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 19th minute of the match Lloyd Carlos sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rey Moody skillfully saved the ball. Darrel Alley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dylan Grier in the 25th minute of play. Darrel Alley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dylan Grier, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 27th minute, Tom Browning hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Freddie Crandall got free with Darrel Alley in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rey Moody made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Scottie Huerta in the 34th minute of play. Carlyle were furious when Lloyd Carlos was red carded, 39 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Carlyle fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 39th minute. Penalty! After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

A collision led to Blood Machine getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Alexis Gilbert hit a great ball. 64 minutes into the match, Carlyle's Steve Mills broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Scottie Huerta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Freddie Crandall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jimmy Kennedy hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. 72 minutes into the game, Marty Simpson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Blood Machine's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Carlyle the free kick. A collision led to Blood Machine getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Marty Simpson hit a great ball. With a little luck, Blood Machine's Rey Moody got control of the ball when Scottie Huerta tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rey Moody made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tom Browning in the 75th minute. Daron Wright kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. The audience cheered when Jimmy Kennedy's long shot passed Darrel Alley's right side. It was 2-1, 78 minutes into the match. Freddie Crandall scored 3-1 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Darrel Alley, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 87 minutes into the match, Blood Machine's Dylan Grier sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Darrel Alley narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Marty Simpson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Blood Machine's supporters rose to their feet, but Marty Simpson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Darrel Alley breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 94 minutes, Dylan Grier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Blood Machine's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dylan Grier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 95 minutes, Simon Lucero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Blood Machine and the Carlyle players grew even worse after the yellow card. Blood Machine were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Carlyle for a fine match.
