The penalty shot was made by Gualterio Eliu, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ottawa Hills's Kerry Allen. 3-0. Anchorage Athletic's Jean-Charles Rinaudo got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jacob Orozco to make the kick off. If Jean-Charles Rinaudo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kerry Allen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacob Orozco in the 63rd minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, Anchorage Athletic's goalkeeper Johnny Mesen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rickie Holbrook. Johnny Mesen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nick Waite in the 75th minute of the match. 77 minutes into the game, Anchorage Athletic's Jean-Charles Rinaudo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kerry Allen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. 82 minutes into the match, Jean-Charles Rinaudo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kerry Allen. Ottawa Hills's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jean-Charles Rinaudo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Anchorage Athletic's Jacob Orozco got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 87th play minutes Jacob Orozco shot 8-0, a short shot which went by Kerry Allen and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 91stth minute of the game Jacob Orozco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ottawa Hills's Kerry Allen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jacob Orozco in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kerry Allen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 95 minutes, the score became 9-0 when Jacob Orozco sped through Ottawa Hills's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Kerry Allen. Anchorage Athletic walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
