Jesse Noel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Glenn Whatley made a huge save. After 23 minutes, Salvatore London made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. HempGods FC's Nathaniel Childers tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 28 minutes into the match, Corvallis FC's Salvatore London sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nathaniel Childers narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Corvallis FC's Douglas Malone got a free kick in the 29th minute. With a little luck, Corvallis FC's Glenn Whatley got control of the ball when Jesse Noel tried to sneak it across the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, HempGods FC's goal looked a bit too open when Douglas Malone came free, but Nathaniel Childers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nathaniel Childers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Salvatore London, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Toby Kearns made a kick off. Nathaniel Childers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Douglas Malone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Salvatore London blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nathaniel Childers having to make a save. Chuck Cates charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Chuck Cates the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Chuck Cates hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. With his leg Nathaniel Childers managed to avoid a goal in the 75thth minute, when Corvallis FC's Douglas Malone fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Salvatore London, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 77 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Nathaniel Childers was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Salvatore London in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nathaniel Childers saved HempGods FC from getting behind. Nathaniel Childers made an important save on a dangerous shot by Douglas Malone in the 87th minute. Glenn Whatley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jesse Noel in the 89th minute of the match. Douglas Malone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The HempGods FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Corvallis FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
