Antony Peck came out of the goal and Duncan Byrne tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 12th minute of the match Hunter Rollins shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rosario Corbin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 13th minute, Tanner Wiley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Benjamin Holliday had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kevin Hamilton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rosario Corbin having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Coimbra Team's zone, Kevin Hamilton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rosario Corbin came out of the goal and Kevin Hamilton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benjamin Holliday to strike the kick off in the second half. Coimbra Team's Rosario Corbin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Coimbra Team from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Coimbra Team's zone, Benjamin Holliday stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rosario Corbin came out of the goal and Benjamin Holliday tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leif Sito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Coimbra Team's Rosario Corbin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin Holliday in the 59th minute of play. In the 64th minute, Benjamin Holliday got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 70th match minute, Coimbra Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Duncan Byrne to maneuver through the defense. Benjamin Holliday received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rosario Corbin came out and tried to block the shot, but Benjamin Holliday slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 71st minute. If Benjamin Holliday had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leif Sito kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. In the 83rd minute, Leif Sito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rosario Corbin was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Arthur Geiger. After having played for 90 minutes, Duncan Byrne managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Coimbra Team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Duncan Byrne was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Carmel Valley Village AFC's Benjamin Holliday slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rosario Corbin. That made the score 0-2 after 93 minutes of play. Benjamin Holliday received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Rosario Corbin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Carmel Valley Village AFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
