In the 3rd minute, Salvatore London reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Johnny Mesen. The goal made the score 1-0. If Daniel Engel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jacob Orozco in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Glenn Whatley saved Corvallis FC from getting behind. The supporters of Anchorage Athletic booed when Corvallis FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jamar Barrera didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jean-Charles Rinaudo scored 1-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Glenn Whatley, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 16 minutes, Jacob Orozco made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Corvallis FC's Glenn Whatley tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 22 minutes into the match, Corvallis FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jacob Orozco came free, but Glenn Whatley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Anchorage Athletic getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Ken Preston hit a great ball. Jean-Charles Rinaudo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Glenn Whatley having to interfere. In the 34th minute of the match, Cason Belanger tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Johnny Mesen saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Anchorage Athletic's Johnny Mesen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cason Belanger in the 35th minute of play. Corvallis FC's Glenn Whatley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacob Orozco in the 38th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Philip Riker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 45 minutes of play, Anchorage Athletic's Jacob Orozco made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Glenn Whatley was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 52nd minute of the game. One of Anchorage Athletic:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Corvallis FC:s goal. Johnny Mesen had in the 54thth minute some difficulties stopping Philip Riker's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 54 minutes into the match, Philip Riker had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Johnny Mesen. Anchorage Athletic's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Philip Riker was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. In the 57th minute, Jamar Barrera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Corvallis FC booed when Anchorage Athletic was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Del Corley didn't get a good kick on the ball. Douglas Malone recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Johnny Mesen came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Corvallis FC's Cason Belanger. But to his dismay, Cason Belanger quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. During the 71st minute of the match Philip Riker completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Philip Riker a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 72nd match minute, Corvallis FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Philip Riker to maneuver through the defense. Jacob Orozco struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Glenn Whatley didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Anchorage Athletic. Corvallis FC's Glenn Whatley proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Corvallis FC from getting a goal against them. Gualterio Eliu made in the 83rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Jean-Charles Rinaudo immediately put the ball in play. Jean-Charles Rinaudo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Douglas Malone's late challenge caught a Anchorage Athletic's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Douglas Malone helped the player get up and apologised. Douglas Malone hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Corvallis FC's Glenn Whatley got control of the ball when Gualterio Eliu tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 87th match minute, Corvallis FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cason Belanger to maneuver through the defense. Jacob Orozco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Glenn Whatley made a huge save. Glenn Whatley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacob Orozco in the 91st minute of play. The throw-in from Del Corley in the 95th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Corvallis FC's Salvatore London. A collision led to Anchorage Athletic getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Jean-Charles Rinaudo hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Anchorage Athletic's zone, Vern Hamm stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Johnny Mesen came out of the goal and Vern Hamm tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
