The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nick Waite stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nick Waite in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Darrel Alley saved Carlyle from getting behind. Carlyle's defense didn't have a chance, in the 93rd minute, when Rickie Holbrook scored to the left of an out of position Darrel Alley, making the score, 0-2. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Ottawa Hills eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
