When Anchorage Athletic's Jacob Orozco in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Anchorage Athletic's Johnny Mesen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrick Doe in the 36th minute of play. Gregorio Hurley didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Anchorage Athletic's Jacob Orozco shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-1 in the ordered_time% minute. After 41 played minutes Anchorage Athletic got a freekick which was hit by Jean-Charles Rinaudo. If Jacob Orozco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rigoberto Moreno to strike the kick off in the second half. Johnny Mesen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rigoberto Moreno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 55th minute, Marlon Erwin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 56 minutes into the match, Anchorage Athletic's goal looked a bit too open when Brant Kline came free, but Johnny Mesen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Villa madero f.c getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Calvin Bonilla hit a great ball. Daniel Engel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregorio Hurley having to interfere. Jacob Orozco who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 68thth minute tested the skills of Gregorio Hurley when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jean-Charles Rinaudo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Villa madero f.c's Gregorio Hurley proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Villa madero f.c from getting a goal against them. Hugh Meyer kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Jacob Orozco's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 78thth minute, Gregorio Hurley skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Jacob Orozco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregorio Hurley having to interfere. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jacob Orozco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Gregorio Hurley made a huge save. Hugh Meyer hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. After 93 played minutes Villa madero f.c got a freekick which was hit by Curt Wilcox. Villa madero f.c succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Anchorage Athletic had controlled the match.
