Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Toby Kearns kicked off to start the match. 4 minutes into the game, Jesse Noel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Rosario Corbin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Toby Kearns had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Tanner Wiley fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Coimbra Team's protests and gave Tanner Wiley a yellow card for diving instead. In the 16th minute, Tanner Wiley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Toby Kearns received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Rosario Corbin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Coimbra Team defense, Toby Kearns kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rosario Corbin. The Coimbra Team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rosario Corbin should have stopped the shot. After 33 minutes, Duncan Byrne mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Coimbra Team and the HempGods FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Duncan Byrne hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. When Leif Sito came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Coimbra Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leif Sito couldn't finish the play. In the 40th minute, Leif Sito left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Coimbra Team fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Duncan Byrne might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nathaniel Childers. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Duncan Byrne ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Coimbra Team's goalkeeper Rosario Corbin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leif Sito to make the kick off. Leif Sito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Toby Kearns's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rosario Corbin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Coimbra Team's Leif Sito got a free kick in the 60th minute. If Toby Kearns had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nathaniel Childers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leif Sito in the 85th minute of play. Rosario Corbin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jesse Noel in the 88th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toby Kearns in the 89th minute of play forced Coimbra Team's goalkeeper Rosario Corbin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
