Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After 12 played minutes Defiance FC got a freekick which was hit by Stefan Foreman. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kareem Matthews in the 15th minute of play forced RED Mountain Resort's goalkeeper Robbie Aquino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute, Melvin French hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. RED Mountain Resort's Robbie Aquino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save RED Mountain Resort from getting a goal against them. In the 23rd minute of the match Gary Chappelle shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Robbie Aquino showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Elvis Magee fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robbie Aquino having to interfere. Randolph Holzer made in the 29th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Romeo Nunn. 30 minutes into the game, Benny McRae was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. RED Mountain Resort's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Defiance FC the free kick. A collision led to RED Mountain Resort getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Benny McRae hit a great ball. Kareem Matthews fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robbie Aquino having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Defiance FC's Gary Chappelle slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Robbie Aquino. That made the score 1-1 after 36 minutes of play. 41 minutes into the match, RED Mountain Resort's goal looked a bit too open when Melvin French came free, but Robbie Aquino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 46 minutes into the match, Romeo Nunn had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Thad Britton. Defiance FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Romeo Nunn was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kareem Matthews stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as RED Mountain Resort's Pete MacDonald slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Thad Britton. That made the score 1-3 after 53 minutes of play. In the 57th minute, Romeo Nunn got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Defiance FC's Thad Britton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romeo Nunn in the 60th minute of play. Stanley Goldstein kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Thad Britton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romeo Nunn, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kareem Matthews in the 80th minute of play forced RED Mountain Resort's goalkeeper Robbie Aquino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thad Britton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romeo Nunn, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Gerardo Moss sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tom Kyle made in the 94th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Romeo Nunn however managed to control. The supporters of Defiance FC booed when RED Mountain Resort was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benny McRae didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 97 played minutes, Defiance FC's Gary Chappelle shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Robbie Aquino came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Defiance FC reached it. The RED Mountain Resort supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing RED Mountain Resort would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
