Santiago Kelley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ignacio Gordon, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. After 6 minutes, Murray Purvis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Thrives FC and the Muts Old Boys players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 6 played minutes Thrives FC got a freekick which was hit by Murray Purvis. After a rather tough play, Thrives FC's Matt Beam got a free kick in the 17th minute. Darrel Lind fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santiago Kelley having to interfere. In the 20th minute, Ignacio Gordon made a precise shot to the right of Santiago Kelley. Thrives FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. 23 minutes into the game, Theron Earl cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Santiago Kelley was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Muts Old Boys's Zack Goldman got a free kick in the 26th minute. Sammy Rodriquez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 39th minute Ignacio Gordon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santiago Kelley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Thrives FC's Matt Beam got a free kick in the 41st minute. Ardahan Melih kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ignacio Gordon to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Ignacio Gordon made a precise shot to the right of Santiago Kelley. Thrives FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. In the 56th minute, Ignacio Gordon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rey Crosby hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. After 65 minutes of play, Muts Old Boys's Ignacio Gordon made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Santiago Kelley was left in no man's land by his defense there! Johnathan Gunter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sammy Rodriquez in the 69th minute of play. Zack Goldman kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In the 76th minute, Sammy Rodriquez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 78th minute Sammy Rodriquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johnathan Gunter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Ignacio Gordon came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Muts Old Boys fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ignacio Gordon couldn't finish the play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Muts Old Boys fully deserved thier win.
