After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Frank Leach managed to get in a good position for a shot. Defiance FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Frank Leach was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rex Ambriz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Tara Hills supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Defiance FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Defiance FC.
