After a rather tough play, Muts Old Boys's Zack Goldman got a free kick in the 5th minute. Johnathan Gunter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cory Helms in the 6th minute of play. Theron Earl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Edmundo Oakley's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Johnathan Gunter read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Oakley in the 20th minute of play forced Muts Old Boys's goalkeeper Johnathan Gunter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Zack Goldman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Muts Old Boys's supporters rose to their feet, but Zack Goldman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. German Shockley breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edmundo Oakley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 31st minute of the match Bellingham Dolphins got a corner. Muts Old Boys's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Andre Matthews ran over to the corner to take the kick. Johnathan Gunter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cory Helms in the 33rd minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Theron Earl recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bellingham Dolphins's goalkeeper German Shockley, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Muts Old Boys's Jackson Anderson got a free kick in the 78th minute. After 79 played minutes Muts Old Boys got a freekick which was hit by Zack Goldman. Cory Helms recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 91st minute, Theron Earl got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
