In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bellingham Dolphins's goalkeeper German Shockley, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cory Helms could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Nathanial Cano made a huge save. German Shockley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl Norwood, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After a rather tough play, Bellingham Dolphins's C.J. Zepeda got a free kick in the 26th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Bill Benton managed to get in a good position for a shot. A collision led to Bellingham Dolphins getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Pat Pryor hit a great ball. Nathanial Cano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Oakley, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edmundo Oakley to strike the kick off in the second half. Edmundo Oakley struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Nathanial Cano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bellingham Dolphins. In the 60th minute, Karl Norwood got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 60th match minute, Bellingham Dolphins was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by C.J. Zepeda to maneuver through the defense. Pat Pryor kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Benjamin Crusher hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Cory Helms struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Nathanial Cano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bellingham Dolphins. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Bellingham Dolphins had won after a very even match.
