Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Edmundo Oakley started the match with the kick off. Edmundo Oakley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Robbie Aquino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot by Andre Matthews from long distance, 8 minutes into the match, got Robbie Aquino's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 14th minute, Casey Whatley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 18th minute, Gerardo Moss hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 20th minute Romeo Nunn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but German Shockley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 28 played minutes Bellingham Dolphins got a freekick which was hit by Pat Pryor. German Shockley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romeo Nunn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bellingham Dolphins's German Shockley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerardo Moss in the 34th minute of play. Edmundo Oakley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Robbie Aquino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Robbie Aquino was a little too slow when Edmundo Oakley got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 41st minute. The score was now 1-0. Romeo Nunn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without German Shockley having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Romeo Nunn made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Cory Helms made a precise shot to the right of Robbie Aquino. RED Mountain Resort's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. After a rather tough play, Bellingham Dolphins's Armando Mathis got a free kick in the 56th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Bellingham Dolphins's zone, Romeo Nunn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. German Shockley came out of the goal and Romeo Nunn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. German Shockley made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gerardo Moss in the 58th minute. Robbie Aquino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cory Helms, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Cory Helms sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. German Shockley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romeo Nunn in the 69th minute of play. Benny McRae charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benny McRae the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, RED Mountain Resort's Benny McRae got a free kick in the 71st minute. After having played for 72 minutes, Edmundo Oakley managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bellingham Dolphins's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edmundo Oakley was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After having played for 78 minutes, Gerardo Moss managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RED Mountain Resort's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gerardo Moss was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romeo Nunn in the 81st minute of play forced Bellingham Dolphins's goalkeeper German Shockley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cory Helms recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gerardo Moss got free with German Shockley in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 91st minute, Armando Mathis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 94th minute Romeo Nunn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but German Shockley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. RED Mountain Resort's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
