Forrest Fitzpatrick sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arnoldo Cooper might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tyrell Coles. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arnoldo Cooper ran back to his position shaking his head. Arnoldo Cooper sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Walter Pitts blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tyrell Coles having to make a save. Mckinley Hoyt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lorenzo Odom, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Forrest Fitzpatrick who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 25thth minute tested the skills of Mckinley Hoyt when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 27thth minute of the game Steve Morin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dallas FC's Tyrell Coles was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mckinley Hoyt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lorenzo Odom's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Arnoldo Cooper received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Tyrell Coles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Forrest Fitzpatrick could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Mckinley Hoyt made a huge save. Tyrell Coles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walter Pitts in the 46th minute of the match. 47 minutes into the game, James Duke was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ravenswood FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dallas FC the free kick. In the 47th match minute, Ravenswood FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by James Duke to maneuver through the defense. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Walter Pitts was the one to do the kick off. Arnoldo Cooper's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tyrell Coles read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. If Lorenzo Odom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rd minute, Steve Morin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 66 minutes into the match, Ravenswood FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lorenzo Odom came free, but Mckinley Hoyt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mckinley Hoyt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Forrest Fitzpatrick's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Ravenswood FC's zone, Lorenzo Odom stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mckinley Hoyt came out of the goal and Lorenzo Odom tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ravenswood FC's goalkeeper Mckinley Hoyt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ravenswood FC's Mckinley Hoyt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Forrest Fitzpatrick in the 79th minute of play. Jayson Vela charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jayson Vela the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Dallas FC booed when Ravenswood FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jayson Vela didn't get a good kick on the ball. Forrest Fitzpatrick took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mckinley Hoyt. Mckinley Hoyt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Dallas FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Ravenswood FC for a fine match.
