Spectators: 7278 (Terracing: 5778, Seating: 1400, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Silas Triplett started the match with the kick off. Tom Andersen's late challenge caught a Prairie du Sac FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tom Andersen helped the player get up and apologised. Charlton Gagne took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Duncan Paris, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 22 minutes into the match, I 69 I's goal looked a bit too open when Silas Triplett came free, but Charlton Gagne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silas Triplett might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Charlton Gagne. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Silas Triplett ran back to his position shaking his head. Scottie Iverson kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. After having played for 34 minutes, Duncan Paris managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Prairie du Sac FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Duncan Paris was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 35th minute, Silas Triplett got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silas Howe in the 37th minute of play forced Prairie du Sac FC's goalkeeper Nelson McIntyre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. I 69 I's Houston Bravo got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of I 69 I booed when Prairie du Sac FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Duncan Paris didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silas Howe in the 40th minute of play forced Prairie du Sac FC's goalkeeper Nelson McIntyre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Randall Camacho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Silas Howe to make the kick off. Silas Howe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nelson McIntyre having to interfere. Joseph McNally received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Nelson McIntyre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Prairie du Sac FC's Silas Triplett got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 65 minutes, Houston Bravo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. I 69 I's supporters crossed their fingers, but Houston Bravo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Prairie du Sac FC defense, Houston Bravo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nelson McIntyre. The Prairie du Sac FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nelson McIntyre should have stopped the shot. Prairie du Sac FC's Nelson McIntyre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Houston Bravo in the 70th minute of play. I 69 I's Charlton Gagne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silas Triplett in the 72nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by James Gonzales during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 74th match minute, Prairie du Sac FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by James Gonzales to maneuver through the defense. But to his dismay, Silas Howe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 87th minute, Randall Camacho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Silas Triplett recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 90 minutes into the match, Randall Camacho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Charlton Gagne. I 69 I's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Randall Camacho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. The I 69 I players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
