After a rather tough play, Ravenswood FC's James Duke got a free kick in the 21st minute. 22 minutes into the match, Bogalusa FC's Rich Santiago broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Willard Vogel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Shelton Shelton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. James Duke hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Bogalusa FC's Rich Santiago shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 33rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Mckinley Hoyt but with some difficulty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walter Pitts in the 40th minute of play forced Bogalusa FC's goalkeeper David Galindo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Arnoldo Cooper managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ravenswood FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnoldo Cooper was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Galindo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Willard Vogel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When %teams%'s Walter Pitts was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 1-1 just inside the left pole, 65 minutes into the game. David Galindo was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. Rodolfo Lucas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Mckinley Hoyt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Rodolfo Lucas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 82nd play minutes Arnoldo Cooper shot 1-2, a short shot which went by David Galindo and just under the crossbar into goal. After 94 played minutes Bogalusa FC got a freekick which was hit by Shelton Shelton. Walter Pitts received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. David Galindo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 98th match minute, Bogalusa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Terence Kelly to maneuver through the defense. The Ravenswood FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Ravenswood FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
