Spectators: 7682 (Terracing: 5762, Seating: 1767, VIP seats: 153) Bogalusa FC's Willard Vogel started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ollie Valdez hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. 4 minutes into the game, Willard Vogel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Lenny MacDowell was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Bogalusa FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Rodolfo Lucas hit a great ball. David Galindo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bryon Escobar, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Cross City's Bryon Escobar got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 23rd minute, Bryon Escobar fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of David Galindo, passed just outside the right post. Bryon Escobar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but David Galindo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. If Bryon Escobar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Bogalusa FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Bryon Escobar made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Bogalusa FC's Marshall Hairston got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Ollie Valdez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 55th minute, Calvin Shook ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. David Galindo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Calvin Shook in the 60th minute of play forced Bogalusa FC's goalkeeper David Galindo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 62 minutes into the match, Bogalusa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Calvin Shook came free, but David Galindo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Calvin Shook received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. David Galindo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 65 minutes into the match, Bryon Escobar notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Bogalusa FC's David Galindo. David Galindo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cross City's Lenny MacDowell proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Cross City from getting a goal against them. Bryon Escobar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. David Galindo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Bogalusa FC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Rich Santiago hit a great ball. David Galindo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bryon Escobar in the 93rd minute of the match.
