Oswaldo Lemons was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sora AFC's Oswaldo Lemons played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daryl Rose in the 11th minute of play. Oswaldo Lemons showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dean Novak, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Oswaldo Lemons didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tim Rosas went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Oswaldo Lemons made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dean Novak in the 22nd minute of play. Jude Powers scored 0-3 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Oswaldo Lemons, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Kurtis Gaston kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Randy Chacon struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Reed Bateman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sora AFC. After 32 played minutes Sora AFC got a freekick which was hit by Randy Chacon. A collision led to Cherryvale getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Tim Rosas hit a great ball. Oswaldo Lemons showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jude Powers in the 38th minute of the match. Rolando Sylvester fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reed Bateman having to interfere. Randy Chacon struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Reed Bateman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sora AFC.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and C.J. French made a kick off. Oswaldo Lemons showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daryl Rose, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. 54 minutes into the match, Cherryvale's goal looked a bit too open when C.J. French came free, but Reed Bateman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 56th minute, Tim Rosas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. No goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Cherryvale's Daryl Rose slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Oswaldo Lemons. That made the score 0-4 after 66 minutes of play. In the 69th minute, Sora AFC's Randy Chacon seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Randy Chacon the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Sora AFC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Randy Chacon had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After a rather tough play, Sora AFC's Randy Chacon got a free kick in the 70th minute. Cobi Goodwin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tim Rosas got free with Oswaldo Lemons in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dean Novak hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Dean Novak received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Oswaldo Lemons came out and tried to block the shot, but Dean Novak slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 87th minute. With a little luck, Sora AFC's Oswaldo Lemons got control of the ball when Kurtis Gaston tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Sora AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Cherryvale were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
