SC DEIMA's Rod Harrison played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ace Tipton in the 32nd minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, SC DEIMA's goal looked a bit too open when Ace Tipton came free, but Rod Harrison reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 36 played minutes Ace Tipton could catch the ball where he stood relatively free a bit outside the goal and without hesitation he completed 1-0 into the left cross. 43 minutes into the game, Blaine Morrison was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC DEIMA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave DC united the free kick. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ace Tipton stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Luciano Hale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rod Harrison having to interfere. A collision led to SC DEIMA getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Percy Day hit a great ball. Ace Tipton scored 2-1 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rod Harrison, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Randolph Schmitz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Virgilio Cummins having to make a save. Pierre Coronado's late challenge caught a SC DEIMA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After 77 minutes of play, SC DEIMA's Frank Hoover made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Virgilio Cummins was left in no man's land by his defense there! Virgilio Cummins showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Randolph Schmitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. SC DEIMA's Randolph Schmitz got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pierre Coronado hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. In the 90th minute of the match, Randolph Schmitz tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Virgilio Cummins saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.
